Course Objective
The primary objective of this course is to introduce children to the world of coding and programming in a fun and engaging manner. By the end of the course, the students will:
- Gain Basic Programming Skills: Understand fundamental programming concepts, including algorithms, loops, conditional statements, and variables, through interactive coding exercises.
- Master Scratch Programming: Become proficient in creating animations, games, and stories using the Scratch platform, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Learn Python Programming: Acquire the basics of Python programming, enabling them to write simple programs and create drawings with Turtle graphics.
- Develop Web Development Skills: Gain an introduction to web development by building basic web pages, styling them with CSS, and adding interactivity with JavaScript.
- Explore Game Development: Learn to create simple 2D games using the Pygame library in Python, enhancing their logical thinking and game design abilities.
- Get Hands-on with App Development: Discover the process of mobile app development using App Inventor, enabling them to build their own interactive apps.
- Engage in Robotics and Arduino Projects: Explore robotics and electronics by writing code for Arduino projects, fostering an understanding of robotics concepts.
- Experience Creative Coding and Music: Experiment with Sonic Pi for live coding music performances, combining artistic expression with coding skills.
